The wine comes from a hidden corner on the north-western border of Germany, Ahr Valley. This region is comprised of steep slate slopes that trap the warmth and light, then cools down in the night. Perfect for ripening Pinot Noir. In Germany, they call Pinot Noir by the name Spätburgunder.
In the wine, you'll find aromas of raspberry and spice. It has a med to light body with fine tannins and very little oak. A delicate, yet complex, red that won't disappoint a Pinot Noir lover.
