Well, it is not the first sparkling Nebbiolo ever – there’ve been some attempts in Piedmont – but it is a rare expression of the variety indeed. What is most important: it’s delicious! The Nebbiolo character is shining through with juicy rose hips, raspberries, and wild strawberries. Creamy texture is enhanced by 18 months aging on the lees. This is serious sparkling wine yet so charming and easy to drink. A little miracle achieved in creative desperation.
