The château and surrounds has been in the Boisseau family since 1596. In 2006 Xanier and Kerrie Boisseau took the reigns of the estate and converted to biodynamics. Their land sits at the crossroads of southern Macconais and northern Beaujoulais. They have 2 vineyards in the village of Chaintré in Pouilly Fuissé and also granite hillside vineyards planted to Gamay from which they producer Beaujoulais.
